I thought, finishing aside, he was excellent last night. His movement and first touch were top notch. He just pulled a few shots too far wide.

But then was cold as ice when he needed to be. I'm not worried about his open play goal scoring one bit. It will come good soon.

Turning into Soldado mk 2. Very good at penalties.
A bit more original than the "he's turning into Torres" shite that I've been reading recently, but shite it is.
The speed in which some have turned on Aguero has been shocking. Reading the match day thread last night was an eye opener. There's a few who might need to brush up on the definition of 'Supporter'.
I've no doubts he'll be embarrassing a few in the coming weeks.

On another night he would have bagged a hat trick. One save by the keepers arse after Joe's long ball to him, and one near the end when their keeper almost had a broken nose.

I think that penalty will give him plenty of confidence going forward.

The one after noes long ball went wide. The other save was first couple of minutes from Sterling cross. He should have scored at least one of them.

He's just not quite there in open play yet, but we need to remember that he's playing with two players with whom he is still developing an understanding. I'm not that confident that Bony would have got himself into quite the same goal scoring positions as Aguero last night, so I think we just need to play him through this patch and expect things to improve in due course.

He won and scored the pen last night. No one else in the squad has pulled us out of the shit as much as him in my opinion. Maybe yaya. He didn't miss any sitters last night, worked hard and when it really mattered delivered. Plus we have no one else in the squad to replace him with!

Don't know what the Spanish for 'sitter' is, but I bet Kun himself will think he should have scored from that one when he hit the keeper with it in the first half. ;-)
He'll probably get a hat-trick against the Mags.
