Player topic: Stevan Jovetic (2014/15)

The sooner Jovetic goes the better now, he'll be poison now he's pissed off.

I agree. I've just read his comments, and i'm really fucking disappointed. He's a big boy being paid big money and it's clear that this has happened because of a one off sanction. For him to be marding it up in the press is well out of order and if he's that sort then we'll be well rid in the summer.

I feel sorry for him, he's been asked to play out of position (striker) for the team when he's been struggling for fitness and form himself. I've no doubt he's a special player but at the moment he seems a square peg in a round hole at City.

I hope stays but with the arrival of Bony and the need for the club to promote youth or home grown players he may be sold back to Italy where he'll no doubt flourish again.

Can totally understand him being livid about it. Was very much expected and will be gone in the summer. Must say that he still seems to be supporting the team after he tweeted after our victory against Stoke. He has never sulked during his time here even on getting limited chances or being subbed off.

He's a decent bargaining chip in the summer, I hope that Juve are still keen and we can sort out a deal for Pogba.

Would be nice.

or Vidal, if his knee seems fully mended.

And City have been very patient with his "injuries" as well has assisting his recovery from hamstring injuries.

I'm ecstatic too! I feel like we can move forward with his depature. All the signs are that Bony will come in and get the goals we need and take some pressure of Kun.

Which are?

Highest goal scorer in 2014:

Wilfried Bony - 18

Sergio Aguero - 16

Edin Dzeko - 14

Yaya Toure - 14

Daniel Sturridge - 13

Wayne Rooney - 13

Those goals were not for City. I'm not dissing Bony or you, but to say he will repeat that scoring fete whilst having only played a few games with Yaya in the ACON is purely speculative at this moment.

I hope your prediction is true though

Just read his comments and he is now history im afraid.

Offer him to Juve plus cash for Pogba.

Although it's not wise to go public with it, but I Can totally understand his comments.

Any self respecting player with ambition wants to play at the very top level. Anyone except maybe the likes of Wayne bridge will be disappointed when they are omitted from the CL squad. It hurts. Morale wise will certainly be affected. Can't blame him. He had so much potential as a young player. Pity it didn't really work out for us
