Ahh, the old will hopefully start working with the squad next week! Only comes true when Manuel has said it for 3 weeks in a row.

This might sound odd but I don't think we'll miss him as much against Arsenal as we might against Sunderland, so with any luck he's available for that game instead.

Time to go into Paul McGrath mode for Vinnie I think.

Despite all that he did pretty well. Would have done even better if not for his injuries.

We have to hope VK isn't another King or Mcagrath injury wise but both show that there are ways of managing the situation so they can still be important players,

Against that I guess is knee and calf problems are different animals. You can play without cartilage but not without working hamstrings.

Mcgrath not the best comparison to be fair , he was kicked out of the swamp because of his absences from training and his drink problems , Ledley King was a great defender at Spurs , but he couldnt train , because of fitness issues , he had a recurring knee problem , not sure if the club could manage Vinny in a similar way , would rather see VK busting a gut on a Saturday afternoon (or lunch time , Monday night etc) than in a training session. Sad that our season could revolve around how many games Vinny can play between now and May , that is how vital he is to our team , his leadership and organisation is currently irreplaceable.

Definitely need someone else now. VK used to be the man we relied upon but hes got worse and worse. Nowadays he barley plays and the whole saga has become a disruption to the team.

It could all be part of some plan to keep us fighting on all fronts while not putting too much strain on the same players. We need both him and Kun fit though from now till the seasons end.
