Gutted for him but he needs the time to make a full recovery. He will be back stronger than ever if we just let him heal
His market value will have plummeted further after this set back. If he were playing for another club we wouldn't be considering him as a purchase for all his excellent leadership and footballing talent.

Shame to see this injury reoccur.

But to see people say he's done with city, you'd think he was fucking dead.

The injury is a disappointment, but ye will be back.

Even if we sign a replacement, if Vinnie is deemed fit to play 10 games a season then he will stay here, because those ten games might be the difference between being successful and not being.

Calves are really tricky to heal. I had years of problems with mine, kept thinking it was ok and feeling great and then pulling it again. I know I am not an elite athlete but I do run 20miles a week at least. I had to rest for 3 months with weekly physio to get mine sorted. So hopefully city will do something similar and we won't see Vinnie again this season. I would get Jason back on loan if possible or a cheeky bid for shawcross

Heartbreaking scenario. We need to give him the true time to recover instead of rushing him back. Even if it takes 9 months.

Go away, see a specialist abroad and have the required surgery. Anybody calling for the back of Kompany, should be ashamed. After all he's done for this club and achieved.

My previous career was cut short at the age of 20 with a chronic injury problem, these things do happen. We need to give him the time and see if he can bed back in. He will be back, but probably not at the level we are used to.

HEAD UP VINCENT!

You can't pay a player a fortune have him take up a spot in squad Europe squad for ten games

Hurts to say but i fear he's finished. can see him being our version of ledley King. When you keep on getting injuries over and over like he has, especially given the way he plays where he often stretches his body in bizarre ways, it's hard for the body to ever fully recover from that, Get him on an individual training program and target him playing just the big games where he's needed most. Good management can still save his career, i don't think we will ever see him playing regularly again and one thing is for certain, we can't go into next season expecting Kompany to be fit, we absolutely have to plan as if he's not with us anymore.

Be prepared to lose your arm then
Were you there today then?
Did you say hello to Ric and his son befor the game?
I think not, but I did

Anyway enough of this who's a bigger blue, because you are not even on the same plane, so I'm willing to drop the torture

So effin sad to see the great man like this.

Get better soon, Vinny!

Hopefully it won't be long before we are seeing images like this again.
