It's difficult to use players sparingly and get the best out of them.

Aguero in the past has really struggled after injury and needs a run of games before he comes good. Dzeko, Jovetic also struggled when out of the team. Bony too
 
Time for the club to get together with Manchester University and develop lightweight armoured socks using carbon nanotube technology to protect our prized assets - especially David. A strap line of "Referees don't protect our players so we got some local help in..." should suffice.

Kun has suffered five impact injuries , silva has usually been clattered with his ankle problem (no doubt he plays a lot of games carrying this injury) , VK's absences are all through muscle problems (which cant be strapped up and managed like Merlin's injury), perhaps the club should wrap VK in cotton wool between games , it worked for the likes of Ledley King and Paul Mcgrath , we need vinny on the pitch , and managed correctly we could see vinny lifting a few more trophies over the next couple of years , At present with vinny busting a gut in training , its simply not working , he is missing too many games , (token insult not included in this post , and hopefully the alzeimers hasnt kicked in yet)
 
The team revolves around kompany, forget silva and aguero, this guy is a leader, a huge miss today. With yaya as the captain you can't help but feel he's a liability. Please VK, hope to have you back for next week.
 
We can't function without him. He and Fernandinho hold it all together. Take them out and our defensive phase is of relegation standard.
 
It's clear and unfortunate that our best players are horribly injury prone - silva, VK, Aguero. Not a good situation to be in.
 
VK is our captain and leader , the fact he will probably miss 50% of the season , will mean we will not win the title , you cannot build a title winning side around a player who misses half the games , and before posters start stamping their feet in a hissy fit and accusations of writing him off , he is still in my humble opinion the best centre half in europe when fit , and the best centre back i have seen in a blue shirt since Dave Watson , but we now need to sign another , younger , fitter world class centre back to play alongside Ottamendi His absences are not acceptable , and if vinny becomes a squad player , it is down to his fitness not his ability , hopefully he will be groomed along the lines of Viera and will still have a massive influence in the dressing room and will also progress into coaching and management , couldnt imagine vinny pulling on a different shirt and playing against us , that must never happen
