If the team wins 5-0 and Bony doesn't have a shot on goal, he's still contributed to a team that's won. It's not that we haven't been able to rely on him. If the attacking midfield players are afforded te time and space to cause damage to the defence it will be partly down to Bony's presence and movement.
Not having that the same arguments have been thrown defending other strikers we have had that have been lambasted as having poor form because they are not scoring.

Let's just say I am that confident Bony will score today I am having a 5 on him. Any other player it'd be a 20 but hey small steps and all that.

Would you be happy for him to go the season without scoring? Would he be doing his job as a striker?

If we are talking hypothetically, yes, I would be ecstatic if he scored zero goals all season and we won every game 5-0. He will have played his part in that.

What if he gets no goals and 25 assists? would he have failed as a striker in your eyes?

No excuses for Bony today , he is fit , he is playing with the best players , he has ever played with , and playing against a team that will be fighting for their lives at the end of the season , time for him to start repaying some of the fee , if he scores today , it will give him confidence for the Sevilla and scum games.

Basing on what I have seen when he has played. Just doesn't look dangerous / look like scoring
Have to agree with this. He will get the odd goal here and there but he isn't good enough as back up for Sergio. Hope I'm wrong though.
