Really hope the lad can kick start his City career. His first touch is excellent, he holds it up well and does lay it off well.

However his movement is poor and he needs to adopt a Paul Dickov standard of work rate, then if he's having a poor game at least we fans will see he's busting a gut trying!!

He just needs a goal or two, hopefully tomorrow.

I understand the need to scapegoat for some but he's barely had more than a handful of opportunities, he's done some really nice stuff when he's been on as well. Changing to one up top means he'll always be second fiddle to Aguero but hopefully he can take this opportunity with both hands.

Big game for Bony this weekend and this is his moment to shine. He is up against Bournemouth and a 37 year old Sylvain Distin if he cant get passed them and him and at least score then there is seriously no hope for him.

I really hope not to be viewing this thread on Monday with more tripe excuses and made up lies in defence of the big man.

So if we win 5-0 and Bony doesn't get on the score sheet, you think there is no hope for him. It's about he team contributing and collectively winning, not one individual not managing to score.

This is now Bony's first real chance to show us what he's about. Yes he's has starts but always with others to come on (Kun Džeko Jovetić) and that might have been in the back of his mind; "when will I get subbed today?" or knowing it's just one game and next game he'd be back on be bench.

He's looked really good in our open play aspect of his game. Great first touch, strength, passing... And he's now got a run of games where he knows he'll be the starting man. He's bagged loads of decent goals in this league and hopefully he'll start doing the same for us.

When he played against us at the Etihad last season I thought he looked the real deal, thought he was a proper handful. Had everything. The only time I've seen Kompany bullied. Obviously Yaya took over and won the game for us though.

But go on Bony lad lets have it from you from now on!
