I understand the need to scapegoat for some but he's barely had more than a handful of opportunities, he's done some really nice stuff when he's been on as well. Changing to one up top means he'll always be second fiddle to Aguero but hopefully he can take this opportunity with both hands.

I don't, this is a team sport and at any stage of any game, any one of our players will make a mistake. It's how the team support each other to deliver the end result that counts, not singling out any individual as being cuplable.

Oh no I don't agree with the scapegoating, I just understand it goes on a lot on here. The vast majority support City on here but there's an odd few that serve a different agenda. Seems some people were out to get him from day one.

So if we win 5-0 and Bony doesn't get on the score sheet, you think there is no hope for him. It's about he team contributing and collectively winning, not one individual not managing to score.
His job is to score goals just as it is Joe Harts job to stop the ball going in the net. I am confident today that even Bony will succeed in that task but to be fair a win is a win and if we have to rely on somebody else instead of our Striker so be it.

If the team wins 5-0 and Bony doesn't have a shot on goal, he's still contributed to a team that's won. It's not that we haven't been able to rely on him. If the attacking midfield players are afforded te time and space to cause damage to the defence it will be partly down to Bony's presence and movement.

Would you be happy for him to go the season without scoring? Would he be doing his job as a striker?

And what if we won every game he played in, would you be happy?
It depends, how're we winning these games? Are we winning it in the 90' minute with a lucky own goal?

We can debate these silly scenarios all day long, they'll never happen. One of the strikers main jobs is to score goals, that's what he's done throughout his career, that's what he'll do today.

I think the point I'm making is that it's a team game and as long as they win then we have a better chance of winning trophies
I know you're backing him as I read your post in the other thread about him scoring two, I'm just disappointed with some "fans" posts on here almost wishing him to fail
