A solid game from Wilf today, just wish he didn't drop deep so often as he's a pretty slow player all round.

Some really good signs today. Still dont think he's at his confident best, but some nice passing especially around goal and good muscle and touch for his second goal. Now please put the Scum to the sword.

As expected a bit rusty due to limited minutes on the pitch. Scored two and held ball well. Overall fine performance that will get better with more games.

Bony also paid tribute to striker partner Raheem Sterling who grabbed three goals in the victory over Eddie Howe’s men adding: “We have been talking a lot in training and he is so quick. I told him when I go up for a header to just start running, or when I have the ball to make a run and it worked out for us today.

A fantastic performance. A striker getting into his peak years and showing great understanding with Sterling. He finally looked like he belonged in the team and our play was built around him. Two goals and an assist and plenty of more good play. He will only get better from here too.
