how the the fuk why does he baloon his shots into row z when he's in an ideal position to place it then when he shoots on the deck his shots have no power, he really is a Jo with no confidence

i think youre talking bollocks but we probably wont see eye to eye.

Jo couldnt hold up; Bony can very well. Jo wasnt strong; Bony is. Jo struggled to interlink with a short game; this is one of Bony's best assets.

i admit Bony's shooting wasnt up to scratch tonight but his movement and interlinking for the De Bruyne goal was class and he made lots of good runs. he still scored despite a couple of rough finishes. the pelters he gets are a bit over the top imo

He's a much better player than we've seen. I actually think some of his build up play has been pretty decent in recent weeks but his finishing has been lacking.

We know from his Swansea days he can score goals though so I think we have to stick with him for now and get behind him.

Jo wasn't 30 million plus to

Just checked, marco no where near the post match thread. Why be positive when you can be negative?? Sad really.

As for Bony, opened the scoring, a hand in a couple of goals. Had he had a bit more composure he could have had 4. His positioning is often questioned, tonight he was in the right place right time.
Iheanacho was excellent along side him. Bony's willingness to push them back, occupy the centre backs gave him space to operate.

Great to watch.

No he was £19m when that was a lot more to us than £30m is now. Also with football inflation that is probably in excess of £30m with the way the prices in the game are now compared to 7 years ago. He managed 3 goals in all appearances, couldnt head, could trap a ball, couldnt pass, was slow, couldnt finish.

not sad really were just digesting what we have seen, if there was no ifs or doubts this thread would not exist so therefore all is not well with Bony's performances, me and in my opinion he doses not have it in him at this level, i hope i'm wrong so lets see, when h'es banging them in playing in the champions lge when we require him to i'l be the first on here to set the record straight, but dont hold your breath
