not sad really were just digesting what we have seen, if there was no ifs or doubts this thread would not exist so therefore all is not well with Bony's performances, me and in my opinion he doses not have it in him at this level, i hope i'm wrong so lets see, when h'es banging them in playing in the champions lge when we require him to i'l be the first on here to set the record straight, but dont hold your breath

So, rather than post some positives after a 5-1 win, you're straight on here to lay the boot in to someone who now has 3 goals in 6 starts this season.
I'm glad you've given him all of 6 starts to recover from a death in the family, Maleria and two other injuries.
This level? You mean the PL, where he has already proven himself? Oh yes the CL, he's had all of 150 minutes to prove himself there.

You seem rational to me, I'm sure one more game and we can sell him. Let's not give him any time to settle. I wouldn't mind but a couple of misses aside he was good tonight.

Not great tonight but it'll come. Could have scored 3 he's just not getting the breaks.

But I have faith, he will settle

His timing is off with his finishing, scuffing most of them. Given games it should come back. Link up play was mixed, mostly good but at times looked slow and ponderous. Overall he did his job well enough tonight, provided a decent platform to build attacks from and got a good goal. Definite room for improvement though.

as i said if there was no problem the thread would not exist so take your blinkers off matey and come up for air

No he was £19m when that was a lot more to us than £30m is now. Also with football inflation that is probably in excess of £30m with the way the prices in the game are now compared to 7 years ago. He managed 3 goals in all appearances, couldnt head, could trap a ball, couldnt pass, was slow, couldnt finish.

Apart from that what was wrong with him?

No signs of improvement and shown up by the youngster tonight in terms of work rate and quality. No more excuses please he just isn't very good. The apologists on here clearly don't go to the game no one could have watched his performance tonight and been impressed

If there's one thing I hate about football it's "supporters" who slag off players, only see negatives in performances and don't have the patience to let a player settle. Bony has shown he's got a great first touch and can lay off a ball in a tight situation. His shooting has been poor, but guess what- so is Aguero's until he gets himself going. Bony's contributing to the team and, I have no doubt, is trying his best. What's he supposed to do? Go to Pellegrini and say don't play me because there are some supporters who don't think I am good enough?

You saw the good and the bad with Bony tonight. Okay player but Iheanacho has to have a shot at #2 striker now.
