I saw Wilf putting his arms out to say I was right here, but he would've probably put that in row Z too.
What did you think of Aguero missing a lot of very good chances this season prior to the Newcastle game? I'm just wondering whether it is only Bony who isn't allowed to have poor runs of form in front of goal or to struggle to get back to form after injuries. Not that Bony is having a particularly poor run of form infront of goal at the moment.

We are really comparing a world class player like Aguero to Bony now? It's like comparing Tevez with Benjani

How long do you expect it to take to get match sharpness back after a bout of malaria?

I'm not going to pretend that I have a knowledgeable answer on this, but he's been in training now since August and played more games than is in a pre-season, which have been mostly high tempo and physical.

Therefore I just thought he would have his extra yard back by now. Perhaps it's expecting too much, perhaps it's not?

Either way I'm not someone who'll get on his back or groan at every bad touch. I'm just expressing my opinion on a board.

Hopefully he'll continue his current stats accumulation and his performances will get better.

TBF Aguero's were being sliced just wide. Bony's misses are going into orbit. When Kevin didn't pass to Bony I wasn't arsed, I know who I feel more comfortable with in front of goal.

You're right, I don't know you. I guess you're about 16, hence the term 'lol' and your inability to spot the glaring flaw in your opinion.

All I can say is, it takes a special type of 'fan' to try his upmost to continually discredit a player in the very very early stages of their career. It takes a pathetic 'fan' to be so desperate to see him fail, just to be right.

Sad thing is, it's obvious the lad is struggling to hit his best form for a variety of reasons, Malaria being one of them yet he's still doing pretty well and scoring goals. The team is winning.

He's had Maleria, is still doing pretty well. Not played any real minutes with Silva our chief creator, we look much worse without Silva as an attacking force. I'm not going to compare him to Aguero as he is World class. But Sergio's early season forms shows just how hard it is for a lone striker get up to speed. Add to that Bony didn't have a pre season.

Look just how off the pace Zabaleta has been. Give the lad time.

As I've said, forming opinions on a striker in a new team, with new players with no pre season, after losing his Grand Mother, contracting Maleria, plus two or three other injuries and an AFCON is just pathetic, add to that his goals and contributions to the team have resulted in just two dropped points in the league.

Bony's starts.

WBA 0-3 City. Bony very good. 1 assist.
Palace 0-1, Bony decent, nothing more.
Bournemouth 5-1. Bony very good, 2 goals, contributions to further goals and a great ball to Iheanacho for him to score. Sadly ruled wrongly offside.
Seville. 2-1. Bony played well, battled hard and should have scored.
United 0-0. Bony our best attacking player and defended very well from the front.
Palace 5-1. Bony scores the opener, has a hand in two more and was finger tips away from an assist for De Bruyne.

Yes, quickly let's slag him off, what an awful return. Best not give him chance to get up to speed.

Is there really any need for the playground insults?
