The only positive? Come off it, did you miss his interplay in the build up to DeBruyne's goal? It was top drawer, what about his little dummy on Kelechi's goal which took out two defenders? Again quality.

As for who should start? on the back of that both should. If you notice at the start Kelechi struggled a bit to retain possession, he was swamped, then Manuel switched him and Bony meaning Kelechi had all that space in the hole while Bony pushed their centre backs deeper.

Bony's finishing, apart from that cracking header left a lot to be desired but that will come, he's proven he knows how to finish and will get his fair share, at least he's getting himself in the right positions. How bad was Aguero's finishing before his five against Newcastle?

There were a couple of occasions where a poor touch led to a promising move breaking down but he's not the only one guilty of that yet he's the only one that got met with groans when it happened.

Fully agree, one goal, played apart in a further 2. Put De Bruyne clean through, all in the first hour.
Yes, he's no Aguero, who is?

Our fans are embarrassing sometimes, Demichellis, Mangala, Fernando, Sagna all utterly slagged, people couldn't wait to offer their opinion. Fans probably the same ones who no doubt slagged the aforementioned are now turning their attention to Sterling, Bony and on occasion Otamendi.

Do these 'fans' offer constructive opinion? No. Just he's shit and I told you. Even when he scores and assists in 5-1 wins, fans still can't wait to slag to prove their 'point'. It's embarrassing, really is.

Could not agree more Wilfried is an exceptional talent and I for one am lucky to be able to pay all this money to go and watch him.

I've defended big Wilf a lot but last night he got on my tits a bit. That ruthless finishing he had at Swansea has t come back yet, and his sharpness is taking a lot longer than I expected too.

Having said that, he scored the goal that got the ball rolling last night and did (via a defender) against Sevilla. So it's not like he's been useless.

I just hope he can step up another level as that's what it'll take at city. Especially in the biggest games.
How long do you expect it to take to get match sharpness back after a bout of malaria?

I am surprised that scoring three and assisting in 3(?) in the four games he has started since Sergio has been injured is not enough to even start to make people think he might be reasonable back up. And that's before we even go into malaria or injuries etc.

There were some outstanding bits of hold up play and lay offs/ passes last night by bony. He also pressed the defenders better and generally moved quicker about the pitch so encouraging signs plus the header was class under a lot of pressure and we need to see more of that( but thats more down to delivary from wide areas)

However his finishing at other points was farcical on at least one occasion and he needs to sharpen up as the two young lads (kelechi and garcia) really showed what he should be doing with their finishes.

He has inproved but still needs to keep doing so and kelechi in particular is going to push him hard.

That's why I'm still happy for us to give him more time. He's clearly a much better player than he has seemed since he joined City. Its debatable whether or not he's the right fit for City, but there's definitely a better player there waiting to re-emerge. The thing that stood out for me when he was at Swansea was his composure, the quality that he seems to be the most lacking just now. He can play, he just hasn't done so for us.

Embarrassing? I've laid into 2 other players like I am with Bony and they're no longer at the club.

What is embarrassing is when you're getting paid 80k a week and you're doing your best to apply for kicking duties for the English Rugby team.

As I've said before I don't blame him, I blame the scout who recommended him, and the manager who couldn't see that his 4-4-2 formation wasn't working when everyone else could.

Not my fault he has a touch like Jimmy Saville.
