I said it when he signed and i'll say it again, signing this lad was the worst decision since the takeover

Happy to be proved wrong though..........

I said early doors that he needed time to play before we can make a call.

He’s had a fair crack now and I think he is coming up short. As with every player there are pros and cons and I do think that at times he shows real quality on the ball – some of his touches are superb. However he doesn’t seem able to use his strength to good effect with us and the play seems to go round him not through him.

I still hope to see him come good but I think he is in need of a significant upturn in form / goal scoring return to rescue his squad place for next season!

Got to admit that I'm slowly losing faith. The thing is, the not scoring any goals I can put up with. Others will do that. But this is a big, physical player, who's supposed to be winning the ball for us. When he came on against Southampton he lost the first three aerial duels, which were genuine fifty-fifty situations, outright — that, I'm certain of, and I'm fairly sure he lost the fourth. Result — the ball dropped for Southampton, and a horde of red and white stripes came storming back against us in each case. And given MDM's failings on Saturday, I was bricking it every time.

Found it baffling when we signed him in the first place and nothing since then has changed my mind. Could have got some one for peanuts like Defoe who would have done no worse of a job and not be missing a whoe month of a season for international duty.

This is pretty spot on when you think about it, £28M, you're expecting much better than what Bony is offering. There are so many strikers out there who you could have gotten cheaper and would have offered more by now. Giovinco for one. I wonder how much Morata would cost? We could have actually signed Dybala for cheaper ( I think ). He's still got until at least January before things can be evaluated so fully behind him until then regardless of my opinion on him, if he does well, City does well so come on Bony, prove us wrong.

His first half was actually atrocious, and I'm his big defender, apart from that great tackle when he sprinted back almost to our box, and from the goal, of course, so it's not that bad after all.

David Silva's sublime skill only serves to make Bony look like a complete clogger
