Looked more like he wasn't ready/ball didn't take the path he wanted so aimlessly stuck a toe on it in vain. It's all about the interpretation I guess.

Yeah your interpretation is a bit more negative than mine. Not sure I'd use the words 'aimless' 'wasn't ready' and 'in vain'
I do know his contribution meant we scored an Important goal at a critical time so I don't mind being wrong.
 
If he plays Sterling has to play closer to him and not drift out so wide.That format worked against Bournmouth and again on Tuesday night. Does that then make it 4-4-2 though? It works better than when Bony stays isolated in the middle i think.
