He really is looking nailed on for 20+ goals. His header was fucking superb & way better than the two Aguero missed from similar positions, unmarked, the other day. The rebound chance he missed was very missable & we see all our strikers miss them. He played well.

Late on, he won a superb header to set Silva on a run toward goal, two blokes near me were moaning about his positioning for something 5 mins earlier, as Silva was actually on the ball. And strangely enough, most of the time, I watch Aguero take up exactly the same positions they were moaning about, week in, week out.

30m and Bony for Lukaku. That's what we should do.

Everton would go for that.
Of course Everton would go for that
Lukaku: 18 starts, 13 goals / 0 assists, one goal per 125 minutes
Bony: 14 starts, 9 goals / 5 assists, one goal per 135 minutes.

At least it will give the boo-boy jokers a fresh target, even though the team would be much poorer because though you could argue bony doesn't fit well with our style, Lukaku would be far worse.

I'd love to hear why he'd be worse. Please educate us all.

Sure.
But would first wait for you to explain why a player with the same stats as bony (worse if you account for assists) despite playing in a team set up for his strengths, with inferior ball hold-up ability, lesser track record prior to this season is worth 30mn more.

It normally is Aguero then Yaya, with them both off I thought Bony was the right choice. He's normally good at penalties in all fairness.
Kolarov is next in line but he missed last time when bony and sterling were arguing over it.

His penalty miss yesterday was so bad that it overshadowed all his good work in my mind last night. I'm still appalled that Party Boy didn't let KDB take the penalty but I regret letting that annoyance cloud my views yesterday (not that I posted them).

Bony is a very capable player but he has not found his best form for us and he needs to sooner rather than later. I would point out though that despite a good goals per game ratio at Swansea, his shots per goal ratio was not stunning but IIRC it was very similar to Dzeko's for us.

If we are going to cross, Bony has to do his part and stop checking his runs for pull backs. He keeps doing this and it is doing my head in. A big powerful striker like Bony should be pressuring the 6 yard box, not pulling off a run hoping for a cut back. He is good in the air and probably would score more with both more service and an adjustment to his play. Too often you see KDB or Navas or Kolarov trying to find a cross but No blue shirts are offering a run.

I agree Teddy, but I think this is probably a result of not getting the type of cross he is used to. So he starts waiting for the cut back.
If we had a striker that pressured the 6 yard box constantly I think they would get a hat full.
