Now he's here we might as well persevere until the end of the season. Then sell because he is a misfit.

FFS though, let's see a lot more of Kelechi in the meantime. He should be getting one or two starts and certainly a shed load more minutes.

Share your frustration, but he's scoring goals. It's not like he cost £58m and has about 1 goal in 2 months

He's short on confidence, therefore support him. I agree Kelechi deserves a chance.

I'm always behind all of our players (provided they don't go down the Barton/ Thatcher route) and I will be over the moon everytime he scores for us. However, from a bird's eye view, I'm gonna end up looking like Zidane if the quality of his finishing continues.

Liked the reference to the new Thierry Henry too.

It's all about confidence. I think Bony will be a terrific player for City. Just give him some time. You can see that he is overwhelmed and insecure.
He scored 31 goals in the dutch league, i know that's not the same level as the premier league but he is a killer.
The moment he starts shooting on goal from a distance that's the moment his confidence is back.

I think I can only recall one match winning goal and that was Swansea I think. I don't think he's a player who can be relied on to turn a match on its head when it's all going to shit.

No amount of fluffing by you is going to turn him into a 25 goal a season striker.

Not fluffing. But you made a different point now. Goals per game is one thing. Scoring when things are going to....is another. I agree though his goals per chance ratio needs to go up...as does the whole teams. 1 hour a day of shooting practice for the whole team would do it..on both feet.

He was getting a lot of grief today & I'm not even sure why, people were on his back even after he'd scored & played well for 60 minutes. He won every header, didn't misplace a pass, even tried a bit of closing down at times (not particularly effective but can't bemoan it) & scored a goal. He then messed up missing the 2 big chances towards the end, but come off it, Aguero has exactly those sorts of games & no one would slate him for it.

Certainly doesn't suit our style of play, but gets more grief than he deserves, contributed something like 9 goals/assists in past 8 appearances I believe (?) - he's doing his job even if its not pretty. He shouldn't be a starting 11 player for us, but surely people can see what he brings as an impact substitute; something different in attack, if he's happy to be a player who is used off the bench then I'd keep him, if not then he's not the guy for us (had a similar opinion about Dzeko but I think Bony brings more in terms of all round play).

Was excellent today until the penalty. My only complaint about him before the penalty incident was that he was coming far to deep at times. He showed great confidence to take the ball off kev for the pen. After the miss his head went.

Bony all-round play is brilliant, his finishing his lets him down too often. That's the different between a top striker and a midtable striker. I'm not sure he's high on confidence, he doesn't look it.

His finishing was much better than this at Swansea, with less chances, so I'm optimistic that Bony will improve and score more goals in the second half of the season.
