Yaya playing in a forward role?

4 from 8: Yaya, Aguero, Bony, Firmino, Silva, Sterling, TheNachoKid, Lopes.
2 from 4: Fernandino, Fernando, Pogba, Schneiderlin?

Imagine him as our Felaini ... But can play football. What a hold up player? He's barely have to run at all. Let Pogba learn his trade next to a pure defensive player.

If even be tempted to return Kompany to midfield. But that's another story.

I'm dreaming he's staying anyway for tonight.

Surely if Yaya does stay and the Pogba deal goes through Yaya will not get the same gametime. Maybe we could play both for certain periods of certain games but as a regular central midfield partnership it would be suicide against top opposition.

The only sense I can see in this is Yaya being responsible for guiding Pogba as a sort of understudy for one season before reuniting with Mancini for the 2016-17 season.

Yaya as mostly a sub would be more reasonable and save him from playing every game where he looks sluggish. As an experienced player he could sub on when needed like Lamps. The regular partnership could be Pogba + Dinho.

If we keep Yaya and Pellegrini stays and persists with his 2 midfielders, Toure plus one other then we are f*cked ... we won't go very far in the CL and we'll be looking at 3rd or 4th at best in the PL ... If Liverpool get their shit together and have a good transfer window we could be pushed for the 4th place slot in the PL and if we finish outside the top 4 it would be a disaster .... I'm not sure where we're going at the mo ... rumours would point to us waiting for Pep to join in another year. Massive summer for us IMO .....

Yaya has been untouchable and he knows it. I think that's been half his problem this season. IF we were to sign pogba tht sends a big message not only to our rivals but to Yaya too. He would no longer be automatic. He'd have a challenge and it could be exactly what's he's needed. Fresh blood to liven things up. He showed enough on Sunday to suggest he is far from finished.

Of course he could also see his arse and throw a strop the first time he's dropped.

Well we had the first lung busting run of the season against Southampton with 4 Southampton hanging off him that nearly led to a goal by Aguero (denied by very good keeper save).- so who knows? He may actually want to stay...

Please just fuck him off, even if it's just so that we get rid of this shite agent of his and his horrible fashion crimes.

Would it not be prudent to keep yaya so nobody else has him. We Dont pick him of course we bench him at best. Assuming part of his wage is based on appearances his wages will dip and he'll waste his final years. So less money and less game time. All down to his agent. No wonder he only has one client. Ah well.

Putting my cynical hat on though, my guess is if another player comes to City with a bigger wad than YaYa then YaYa's wad would escalate to match...

I don't want to upset everyone but why can't we sign Pogba, keep Yaya and push him into midfield with Silva?

His agent may be a twat but Yaya has done nothing wrong, if he finds form again then he is miles better than anyone who could replace him, especially Pogba.

Dont believe a word out of his agents mouth.

Yet another tactic being employed by him to get his player a cheap move to Inter.
