I don't want to upset everyone but why can't we sign Pogba, keep Yaya and push him into midfield with Silva?

His agent may be a twat but Yaya has done nothing wrong, if he finds form again then he is miles better than anyone who could replace him, especially Pogba.

Any player knows exactly what his agent is up to and Yaya has giving his agent the nod to act like a twat.

If it's a negotiating tactic, it's a seriously fucking shit one.

I've got no doubt we want rid this summer to free up his wage.

I've no doubt we have said fuck off to Inter with their low balling tactics and demanded a half decent fee for the player which has upset his greedy agent.

I've no doubt he has now said he is staying because of his importance to us to annoy the fuck out of us and put the ball firmly back in our court.

He wants his price dropping, nothing more.

One other thing that has been overlooked on here..

After an uncertain couple of months it now looks as though the manager will stay another year, Yaya has been very important to him so maybe he has requested that we keep him for at least one more year ?

It would seem very odd that we have a massive revamp of the squad for a manager that is only going to be here for one more season..

I think they will keep him to help Pogba bed in over the next 12 months ( if he signs )

I used to think we had enough problems dealing with Willie McKay and then Kia Joorabchian, then this joker turned up. A lesson that must be learned by our suits is never again to deal with agents of low integrity, and this is one reason I am turning against the idea of bidding for Sterling.

Unfortunately there is no other type.

Agents are all about making money for their client but more importantly themselves. That is why they are constantly stirring up shit to get more money, either from an improved contract or a move. The powers that be could solve this bollocks at a stroke by making players honour contracts and not allowing clubs to buy players still under contract. It would be the end of transfer fees but clubs wouldn't have to fork out for them either. Also the dipshit agents and players would probably get MORE money because of this.

Forgetting Ya Ya's wages if we are letting him go for 10 million we may as well keep him because even if used as an impact sub Ya Ya is going to be better than what that fee would buy you.

Some of the responses on here are laughable. We had no problem with his agent when we signed him. We had no real problem with Yaya when we won the FA cup, league cup and two titles. While his younger brother was dying of cancer he still played on like a colossus. So he is being judged, while others who have done huge damage to moral get a free ride. All the while we are basing our opinion on the conguling and lying football media. One fact is there was never a bid from anyone for Yaya.

IF he stays, it's clear that he can't play in the same position next season. His legs / attitude don't allow for him to be effective there as we saw this year.

I wouldn't mind seeing him given a free role somewhere further up the pitch...
