I have just returned from a holiday in Tunisia and whenever i was spotted in any of my City attire, they immediately shouted "yaya toure". this guy is huge in Africa. He has helped put city on the map. We are massive in Africa because of this guy! :-) Infuriating to watch at times last season, which has put a slight dampner on his City career but when hes "on it" hes a fooking monster of a player. I hope he stays.

Congratulations Yaya Toure for winning the Laurie Cunningham award, which is at least a recognition for his leadership and passion in fighting football/societal ills such as discrimination and unfairness. Well done big man and keep up to good work.

mixed feelings

the yaya of 2 years ago, with determination and desire? yes please

the yaya of this year, sulking and dragging the clubs name through mud? no thanks

Got my City top with Yaya on the back all ready for my hols to Kos on Wednesday, it goes on first thing Thursday Morning for the hotel breakfast room just to let the fuckers know the Blues are here:)

As you can imagine i am really pleased he is staying, he has been our most important player over the past 4 years and is still a fantastic player..

All Yaya needs is a good rest, a better level of fitness and he will be like a new signing next season..
