It seems to me that those calling for Yaya to be pushed forward are pining for Mancini's tactics from the 2010/11 season.

No pal, theyre pining for us to be defensively solid.

I'd rather we sacrifice some defensive solidity for a greater attacking threat.

Re: Yaya?

That sacrifice has us dangling by a thread in the Champs league, out of the Carling Cup and 6 points behind Chelsea in the league.

Don't agree, complacency from the players has us in that situation.

So Yaya is complacent?

Yup. It's cost us every year in the CL, even when Yaya was at his best.

Yep, amongst others.

Every year? We're only playing this way for our second year now.

Re: Yaya?

I disagree, while he might possibly be able to apply himself a tad more....perhaps.... he also isn't in possession of the attributes to perform the defensive duties required, this is the managers responsibility for not recognising such.

Every year we've suffered for having teams built around individuals rather than an overall team ethic. Individuals who charge around doing there own thin, like Tevez and Yaya, can work in the disorganised premier league, but it doesn't work in the champions league. The best teams are about the team, not the individuals.

You think the team has been giving it everything they've got in all the games we've played so far? I don't.

I'm sure Pellegrini is fully aware of Yaya's capabilities and deficiencies.
