He played well yesterday Yaya just hopes he can build on it aswell. I just hope its the start of Yaya showing us what he can do and continue to play to those levels. Without Silva and Nasri out of sorts after coming back it is up to Yaya to be more and more getting into the game and pulling the strings.

for his passing and attacking flair he is the best but without high tempo and true intentions he get found out CL the perfect exemple

He looked like he was limping after Sunday's game on Tunnelcam.

Hope it's not a major issue.
That can often just be lactic acid in the muscles.

Watch the highlights on <a class="postlink" href="http://www.mcfc.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.mcfc.co.uk</a>. Yaya Toure passes figure prominently.

If you can't bring yourself to accept that Yaya Toure had a good game against Utd, then you've got yourself in a very bad place indeed.

He might not have quite hit the heights of last season yet, but I am confident he will

I've just watched the whole game for first time - aside from being at the game - and Yaya, who I paid particular attention to, had a better game than I originally thought. He had his moments when he could be accused of giving opponents more space than one would ideally like but he certainly did not go AWOL defensively. With the ball - and it bears repeating once more that he had the ball more than any other player in the game - he was excellent in both halves. In the first half, he completed every pass he made and over the course of the full 98 minutes made several sublime passes.

He needs to rediscover his goal scoring touch but he remains one hell of a player.

Look at the flick and turn on about 88 minutes and the curled shot which just missed the post. Followed a minute or so later by his header that was inches over the crossbar from the fizzing cross. I think he is slowly rediscovering his love of the game.

A pattern is emerging as I'm going to agree with you - again. :)

I think again we have a situation where people are letting their bias (either against Toure or against Pellegrini) get the better of them. He played alongside Fernando and overall they were both excellent in the "they can't play together" two man midfield.
