Re: Yaya?

Caught cold for their opener and a player that good should be above petulance. Him and Vinny were by far our best players tonight.

Be fair here guys he was by far our best player tonight until his red card and I can't blame him for losing his rag as if I was on the pitch I think I'd be in a cell right now for GBH on that referee.

You were at at different game mate. Cost us the first goal and his sending off was beiyond dumb.

Supreme footballer on his day but a selfish, thoughtless c**t.

Re: Yaya?

Not a fan, his card was the icing on the cake, BUT I thought he looked most likely to create something tonight, even after we went down to 10 men.

Re: Yaya?

One of the World's best midfielders getting a slagging again.
Had a good game tonight, scored a fantastic free kick, wanted the ball all night and was always looking to create. He's always been petulant, a lot of talented players are - but to slate him after tonight is like the ref blaming game; deflecting from the bigger collective concerns.

Re: Yaya?

Therein lies the enigma that is Yaya. On the one hand he did look like the person most likely to pull us out of the shit, on the other hand, from the first minute he looked like a disaster waiting to happen. From the moment he received his first booking a second was almost inevitable, as it was he bypassed the second yellow and went for a straight red instead.

Exeter Blue I am here said:
I can't defend him tonight. The half arsed dereliction of duty for the first goal was bad enough, but the petulant shove for the sending off was beyond pathetic. Utter self indulgence, with not a single thought for his team mates, his club or the fans.

said it before and i'll say it again. he's desperate to get away.

Re: Yaya?

Mixed bag from him tonight. He was badly at fault on the first goal but quickly redeemed himself. He tried but things would not come off for him in the final third. His cards were silly but I think his frustration that got him sent off was, ironically, a sign that he cared. Not sure how much intent there was for his first booking and didn't think he should have got a straight red but could not complain about a second booking so he still would have been off. However, a sensible referee might have let him off with a talking to.

Anyhow, between their first goal and the sending off, he was probably our best player.

Agreed. He was one of our better players tonight after he helped them by falling asleep for their first goal. Constantly wanting the ball ,probing and looking to run at them but there was such poor movement from the rest it was a thankless task. Not saying he was good but he was trying.
