Regardless of how a angry he may have been, it's a reason why he needs to go this summer, that petulant behaviour is what we shouldn't be seeing from arguably our most experienced player.

I also think a huge problem is the fact that he will never ever be dropped. And he himself knows this.

Whats fernandino's excuse? Just being a fucking brainless dickhead.....That £32m we spent on him is depreciating by the game. I have never seen a player that looked so good one year turn into the crap he has become this season.

£32m players shouldn't get it. We will be lucky to recoup anything on him

Re: Yaya?

While I think Yaya is coming to the end of his time with us, we may still have him with us for another season after this one unless an offer we can't refuse comes in for him. He's a twenty to thirty million pound player all day long. We just aren't getting the best from him at the moment.

Due to his lack of something when we are defending he has to be pushed further forward. He is our "Pirlo". not a great tackler but he can pass the ball from deep and basically does the Silva role from inside our half of the pitch. Why Pellegrini refuses to acknowledge this is what puzzles me the most ?

The other side of Yaya's game is his running through the opposition when he's almost unstoppable, but you can't expect him to rush back if the ball is lost when we try this tactic. This is why a deeper midfield two would give our defence more cover, especially if the full backs are being pushed forward to support our attacks.

City need clean sheets to stop the rot, Playing two "holding" midfielders would help the centre backs and the keeper. Fernando and Fernandinho are the obvious choices for this role, but with our squad we could play Milner, Zaba or even Vinny here if either of the two Brazilians are unavailable.

In last nights game Yaya was one of the few players who looked like creating a goal scoring chance. Aguero was poor last night, but Milner and Yaya looked like the only two players who could create chances for Aguero. The first goal for CSKA was mostly Yaya's fault but he atoned for this with his free kick, and he probably shouldn't have been relied upon to defend against their number one striker anyhow. The sending off was petulant though and for a 30 year old it was a very naïve, childish act and I'd expect a lot more from a players of his experience. It was an identical challengeto the one which saw Fernandinho sent off for and I can see the City players point off view on the matter, especially when emotions were high after the non-sending off of Wernbloom. I'd like to see our players rise above this though and get on with the game, the manger and club should point out the injustices both before and after games to put pressure back on UEFA and the officials.

We shouldn't cheat but we should be able to defend ourselves against those that do.

I think dinho is suffering from being a bit part player this season which I still cant understand why he is! Fernando does a brilliant job at what he does but is limited going forward etc so when he was bought and after the season yaya had last season bringing Fernando in seemed to say we would go one up top and allow yaya further forward without sacrificing too much in midfield but that certainly hasn`t happened.

I agree. I think some players are running the football side right now. Yaya & Nasri is the poison I think.

Re: Yaya?

He's beginning to feel like an old dog that you know you should put down but sentiment and fond memories prevent you doing so.

Everytime I see Yaya he just looks disinterested and clearly can't be arsed. His display against CSKA said it all. One moment of brilliance, one moment of stupidity, and the rest of his time he was switched off and sauntering around feeling sorry for himself. Attitudes like that spread lime Cancer and must be removed.

For me the time has come and we can't let former glories hinder the now. I would look to move him on in January. What we can do between now and January is test new formations and perhaps try Barker, Angelino, Fofana and Pozo over the next set of simple looking Premier League games with a view to identifying and purchasing what we really need in January.

Now is the ideal time for a little youth to be introduced and start clearing deadwood. We'll lose Yaya for ACN anyway, so Fofana under the guidance of a true professional like Lampard will be an opportunity not to be missed.

Youth needs to come through and we just don't seem interested in giving it a chance.

Re: Yaya?

His petulant foul resulting in his sending off was an embarrassment for such a quality player. Opponents now realise if you nag him he'll blow. It was selfish ,pathetic sending off in a vital game that we could have still won. Then his little fanboy Nasri then tries to keep in with Yaya by a reckless tackle that should have been straight red. Nasri never tackles so this was just wanton behaviour which shows the team means fuck all and personal favourites come first. I feel really sorry for the two Ferns because they are being asked to cover the gaping holes in midfield that teams know where they can overwhelm us .
Nasri has a history as a troublemaker in the France squad and you can be sure where his alliance was in cakegate.
