Ever since "Cake-gate" his attitude and overall play has been atrocious. Not even at 20% of what he was last season.

world cup hangover maybe, same with zab

Re: Yaya?

Whilst silva is out we need to play Yaya at the tip of a midfield 3. 4-4-2 has passed him by and he has no desire to make it work.

Re: Yaya?

The first goal by Dzoumbia was a collective mistake by our defense. Are we into zonal or man to man marking in set piece?
Mistake here was Yaya plus another of City Player (Dimechelis) should have gone & fought for the ball rather than man watching!!!
It was a good set piece by CSKA. who sold us a dummy (see Doumbia celebrating by sucking his baby soother dummy)

Referee Sidiropoulos was right in giving the second yellow card to Fern to sent him off.
Likewise He should have sent off Eremenko (his 2nd yellow for obstructing Yaya who got a red card for that play).
CSKA should have been down 2 man (incl. Wernbloom) too.

This season our opponents (especially Stoke, NCU et al) have sussed up to our team's strength & weaknesses. Our strengths (offensive) & vulnerabilities (defensive & midfield gaps) have been exposed & exploited!

A case in point opposition defense are allowing Aguero to show his left foot. In the Derby MU's did that and Aguero was fortunate & only able to score with his left.

At the end of the day we still have lots of work to do!! Preparation & scouting our opponents & be less Predictable. We can't feed Aguero all the time & expect the opponents to let him score. We need to DIVERSIFY our football strategy & Approach!!! We have the Squad & Talent.

I can understand why we blame or scapegoat Yaya for every loss & adulate him when we win the titles & cups.
“With great power comes great responsibility.”

FFS why are we still harping on the cake? Pathetic Whinging! Cut it out!

Re: Yaya?

Definitely not as good as last year. We've probably seen the best of him last season. Hoping he can put in a few top performances again to keep us in contention for champs league.

Re: Yaya?

His Free Kick to Score was Superb. The Power ,the Pace & the Spin/Hook for the Dip.
All Free Kicks of this nature should be left to Yaya to take. He is Proven & is Gifted
No ifs or buts.

Re: Yaya?

he looks like a player who doesn't want to be here anymore...after what happenned in the summer Txiki made a monumental fuck-up not selling him and replace him

Re: Yaya?

Really don't think Toure is the problem. The manager plays him in the wrong position and, at present, he's surrounded by players who are so bereft of any creative guile that the entire weight of expectation is falling on him. Unless he has Silva and Nasri beside him, we concede possession and ship goals at an alarming speed.

Re: Yaya?

Most of us had the notion that Yaya needs to be EVERYTHING. Great up & down Hustler like Milner, Great Ball Interceptor like Fernandino, Great Scorer like Aguero.
He can't be Everything! We don't want Yaya to run like a Headless Chicken so as to harness his energy for productive endeavours. He is a great QB in the midfield. His passes in the opponents halves are accurate, sublime & sometimes Deadly. His half field solo runs to score is the stuff of legends. And he can SCORE.

So we should be contented with at least what he can offer & be less 'greedy' for we can't have EVERYTHING. There is no Perfect Footballer. Even Players like Messi or CR can't or doesn't defend. Not to comment about the over-hyped & over-rated MU players like Rooney or even ex MU players like Scholes (who is less than 1/4 the Midfield Player that Yaya is).

Cake-gate was just an excuse. he was pissed off that he was not voted Footballer of the Year and spat his dummy out. Cake-gate was just an excuse.

This season he has looked quite bored, going through the motions. he is a petulant child as shown by the red card last night. I believe he has caused a division in the dressing room similar to Tevez and Ballotelli.

Re: Yaya?

Regardless of how a angry he may have been, it's a reason why he needs to go this summer, that petulant behaviour is what we shouldn't be seeing from arguably our most experienced player.

I also think a huge problem is the fact that he will never ever be dropped. And he himself knows this.
