Re: Yaya?

I thought he played well today..

We missed his midfield play early doors as he was playing further up, one of the reasons they had so much possession.

Re: Yaya?

Some sloppy passes today, and not hitting the heights of last season, but he's been one of our better performers in the last few weeks, not that that's saying much. A convenient scapegoat for some though.

Exactly.

Once this Forum gets a Boo boy they don't let go.

Hart and Kun outstanding today; Yaya and Nasri decent enough and seven passengers was what I saw this evening.

A bit harsh to single out this forum, City fans have always liked a boo boy. That said, Yaya has brought it all on himself. He acted like a complete **** during the summer. If his antics in the off season didn't happen then I suspect most people would be cutting him a bit of slack.
If he'd performed like last season, then the whole cakegate thing would have been forgotten too. The simple fact is, he hasn't performed as well as last season and sometimes it looks like he really can't be arsed. After the shite he came out with in the summer its no wonder that people are on his back.
I can't remember the thread, but someone professed to be ITK and said Yaya had caused a rift in the dressing room. It would go someway into explaining the current malaise that seems to be affecting the team. I noticed him and Aguero having words on the pitch too. Yaya was angry when Aguero carried on with the ball instead of leaving it for him. I'll be watching them closely in the next game.

Exactly. We don't need players like Ballotelli, Tevez, and Yaya fucking things up with their attitude.

Re: Yaya?

We all know that he made a fool of himself over the summer and it seems the press and some of our fans are using that as a stick to beat him with.

Admittedly he's not scaled the unbelievable heights that he did last year. That was always going to be a tough ask. However in the past week alone, he played the defence splitting ball that ultimately led to the winner against the rags, scored a free kick in midweek and put Aguero through for the equaliser last night.

Needs to up his game some more, but suggestions that we should sell him are ludicrous.

Re: Yaya?

He was Ok yesterday without being spectacular. He wasn;t the worst culprit that he is being made out to be, some what like Mario at the dippers.

Cake gate has tainted him a lot, I wonder what people's thoughts would be if he played as he has been but that incident never happened.

Re: Yaya?

Plenty of pro's and con's in this thread, but has to be agreed by all that he has so much more to offer and the fact is that his standards are significantly lower than they were last season. Whether this is down to cakegate or his other behind the scenes issues, no-one really knows, but there are others in the squad who have likewise underperformed, and it no longer appears a happy camp. What appears likely now is that Pellegrini, rightly or wrongly, will get the blame for this in the same way that Mancini was and that he will soon become history.

No one would probably bat an eyelid. Him or possibly both him and his agent have dropped a major clanger. He had a great legacy with the club, now it lies in tatters. I hope whatever it was, it was bloody worth it.

Tevez was the same.
