Yea apart from the semi final goal against utd .. What has Yaya ever done for this club ?
OK apart from the sei final goal against the rags and the winning goal in the FA cup final, apart from that what has he ever done for us?

The 2 goals at Newcastle in 2012.

Goal last year in the final of the CO cup.

Also was our best player when it came to seeing out the end of last season in the title race.

Re: Yaya?

He scored the equaliser against Chelsea in the 2012 Community Shield.

I believe he checked his pocket before that match and found that Paul Scholes was still there from the previous season.

The comments in the last few pages about Nasri are bang out of order. Classic City fan witch hunt. We've done it so many times down the years for no apparent reason and it looks like we're going to do it again with Nasri. He's now guilty, doesn't care, should be sold, simply because Toure mentioned him in his interview. Pathetic doesn't even begin to cover the people who are making those comments.

you sir are correct.

Hopefully, when he does eventually get his wish......he will take his 'supernice' mate with him.

We can do better than both.

I read that like he was angling for Nasri to go as well.

I realise very few players have true allegiance to a club but my honest feelings are that neither give a fuck about ours.

This^^^^^

Re: Yaya?

So apart from crucial goals in semi finals, finals, community shields, in the championship run in two years ago and scoring 20 goals in the championship season this year including yet again crucial strikes in the run in, what has he ever done for us?

So does going all Monty Python on the idiots on here make you see how fucking stupid slagging a true legend off is?

Re: Yaya?

Have we not fed him this week? Because his hunger today is immense.......

none better when he plays like this.Even his best mate has turned up today;-)

Re: Yaya?

Thank God we were saved by City legend Yaya Toure yet again. Some on this thread should hang their heads.

Re: Yaya?

Much better today, got himself up to the area of the pitch he's supposed to be a lot more than he has been. Still a bit of a cone when the opposition has any prolonged possession, but we did a much better job today of not letting that happen and allowing him to make his way up the pitch. Much less daft giving the ball away in our own half by all our players today, him included. Once we can get sustained possession and give him the time to trundle up into the opposition half, he can start to dominate like he did today. Nasri helped a lot, we've missed Silva's ability to keep the ball when under pressure and give us that time to move up, but Nasri did that well today, along with Navas.
