I'd like to see him as a deep lying playmaker in a three man midfield next year. If you had workhorses round him he'd flourish.

I'd actually go the other way and push him further forward.

So would I................ Out of the Door, with his mate.

The pair of them have severely let the rest of the team down this year and I have no sentiment in me to believe they deserve another chance to come good again. As others have said, if we sell now, they will have some residual value which will diminish rapidly with time.

Time to freshen up and look forward, not back

We should be using this fortnight to get some fitness into Yaya. It should be a guide for the coaching staff to know if he's prepared to put in the work to get himself back to his best this Summer

I think everyone agrees the squad needs freshening up so whats the point in keeping yaya for another season get the problems out of the squad yaya, nasri, dzeko!
Nasri at times this season has been very good. He's a but up and down

City need to be sure about Toure before we decide what to do

The assumption is he's lazy and disinterested. It may just be that he's not fit enough because he let himself go this Summer. If that's the case is he prepared to put the work in to get himself in the right condition for next season.

We need to work out now, if we haven't already what we're going to do with him next season. Us fans wont know.

Yaya may be unmotivated - frankly we are all guessing - but he was at ACON playing every few days in hot conditions so its not entirely surprising if he is finding it difficult physically. The death of his brother has played a part and I do feel there is a disconnect between Yaya and City right now which will probably see a parting of the ways in the summer.

No idea what's happening with Nasri but then I have no idea what's is going on with most of the squad.

City is his best and only footballing option. I can't see the Italian clubs following up any initial reported interest

I would not be surprised to see Yaya depart and I don't want him staying just because no one else can afford him etc. However, if Yaya is genuinely keen to stay, we should keep him but on the understanding that his days as an automatic starter are coming to an end.

Yaya's always looked a bit unfit, uninterested and lazy. He wasnt much better early last season but the free kicks kept going in. But in 10/11, 11/12 & 13/14, once we reached this stage of the season he switched on his outboard motor and became a different player.

I actually think that Yaya can keep playing well into his mid 30's in a Pirlo type role. He would need the team to be built round him, different midfield players to the ones we have (he should never be on the pitch at the same time as Fernando). But, given his apparent lack of commitment to City, its just not worth making the necessary investment to get the best out of him.

YAYA as always looked lazy and uninterested of the ball it's when he has the ball he comes alive and outstanding player one of city's best ever players, play him in the final 3rd and give him the ball as often as possible..

Fitness isn't his problem. If you don't see it you never will.

Cannot believe how many people are giving this bloke yet another chance. He has had enough chances now so lets flog him with our best wishes and hope we can get close to a decent fee for him. He has done nothing but mock this wonderful club recently. Would we stand his behavior from any other player? NO. I have studied his last two performances and they have been shockingly woeful and obviously he hasn't bothered more or less. We should not accept this. I'd rather have a player of lesser ability who doesn't take the piss out of the club and who does his best every game. Thanks Yaya but time to fuckoff now.
