He headed it a few times too, a rarity for Yaya, without much real success. He was OK, nothing special, but far from the worst on our team.

Agreed, think if we sign a top cm in Jan he could be back to his best instead of being a passenger for 90% of the game. If we get this one signing right we win the league

He has and people quickly forget that. Players who are continually injured get a pass while Yaya plays week in week out. Pretty much the whole teams get rotated (except Sagna) or been injured and Yaya is pretty much a constant.

The main issue is not Yaya it is the lack of quality within the rest of the midfield and the reliance upon him

I thought Yaya had a fairly good game versus Leicester and he has been our best player over the last month!

It's like we keep him on the pitch for these famous surging runs. He can't even do them now, just falls over as soon as a player gets too close. Watford pressing him knowing he is a weak link when pressed. Get someone in ASAP to protect him
