You haven't had a good word to say about him all season. Today he wasn't awful he was ok. Sterling was awful, Kolorov was awful, Mangala was awful....Toure was not.
I have given him credit for recent goals. And it was another great goal, but he is so slow and that massively affects our play.

Even if he is a fading star then he deserves a hell of a lot more respect from some city fans than he is getting these days. All those massive goals that gave us the greatest times of our lives are now forgotten it seems. And to make it worse, a lot of the shit he gets is regurgitated bullshit from scouser Jamie fucking Carragher and fucking Gary Neville. Stick up for your hero's till the end blues, for fuck sake.

He's been our most important player since the takeover, what a player. Every player declines, yayas still scoring important goals even though his best days are gone.

He was not shit today. More passes than anyone else on our team. 82% pass competion was below his average but is not a shit percentage. He also made 11 ball recoveries, which is a high figure, and four interceptions.

+1
if that's ok with you OB1; the next person that posts that Yaya was lazy i will just quote the above and watch how they get around it...

Some people just can't get past last seasons shenanigans. He isn't as good as he was in the title winning seasons but fuck me he would have to maintain a pretty high level to emulate that, that maybe only Ronaldo and Messi do season in season out.

He has been a beast for us and today got us out of the shit yet again. He almost did the same at Arsenal. He was one of our better players today which admittedly wasn't difficult.

He gets the blame almost every game when we lose or don't win.

I agree. He gets it in the neck in a way that certain other players don't.

Well said pal...... Mad Marvin is best ignored btw.
He's hugely influential because our game goes through him, but I am just saying it like it is. Got moments of genius in him, but his lack of mobility affects all aspects of our game

In victory you should be critical and see our weaknesses, and in defeat you should try and be positive. I try to do that. For me even after Toure produced a great moment, he should now be a 30 minute man

It's obvious. We route the ball through Toure. He's a key figure in the team, but he can't support the man on the ball on the edge of the area when we're breaking, and likewise when the opposition break on us he's a passenger. He has huge positives but he also has big negatives as well. We should be able to recognise both

No Marvin. There's a reason everything goes through him: no one else in the squad can do that job as well. Therefore, we cannot afford for him to be a 30 minute man.

You've had a witch hunt all season long as you did with Kompany last season and you are too stubborn to admit you got that spectacularly wrong....You were desperate to get rid of Vinny and the last few months you've been backtracking on that one to some tune. Just can't take you seriously.

Who else is going to his job if he's on the bench? There is nobody at the club that can dictate play like toure. If we rely on Delph, fernandinho or fernando to control the game then we will be truly fucked.
