That's where we disagree for the other 89 minutes he will have made more passes than any other player, will often have made more tackles than anyone on the team, will have been central to everything .He can be magical at any one time but does that one piece of potential magic allow the 89 minutes of non existence? Clearly it does to Pellers
As I mentioned in another post; against Leicester he got called lazy , in that game he made 6 successful tackles , the whole of our defence made 6 and I think the other ten players combined made 10. Yet this passes by un noticed as when he is just tackling , passing, intercepting or running the show it seems to be ignored. Even without his magic , strength and goals he would be a great Premier league footballer but he is not credited for his role that holds or side together as the link between defence and attack, frequently the player who sets up every attack or clears a corner and nearly always our main passer and most consistent player
