He's not lazy he's just not physically capable to play that role in that team set up, you don't ask kauto star to plow a field

He is not lazy. He just doesn't have that extra gear. He has quality on the ball, but when teams like Liverpool or Everton play at a high intensity he has had it.

But he does have that extra gear, his trademark move is the run from inside his own half to the opposition penalty area where he just palms players off and steamrollers through and scores eg his goal against Villa when we last won the league. I think he's exceptionally lazy and if he isn't, then he's an expert in making it look like he is.

I am one of Yaya's biggest fans but tonight he was truly a liability and how hesitated on is totally beyond me.

A couple of decent strikes recently doesn't mask what have been some really awful performances. But he isn't alone, our defence has been slagged off all season and at times with good reason. We have had a couple of howlers at the back from individuals, but in all honesty for a top team our defence has to be the most over worked. They get little if no protection at all.

In my opinion our central midfield is where our main problem lies and its the position that needs most surgery.
Gareth Barry at 35 (who by the way we let go 2 years to early) totally outshone all our midfielders tonight and he's not the only one who has done that this season either.

We need an over haul in midfield, with Fernandinho the only one who I'd keep but he isn't immune from under performing either.

The disrespect that Yaya, one of the greatest players to have ever played for City, is receiving off some Bluemooners astounds and saddens me.

Yes, we all know that he is not the player he was and we need a replacement but until we get one (Delph, Fernando and Fernandinho not in the same class) he plays and should be supported loyally.

That is the thing. I am a massive fan but can see his performance level has dropped slightly. It is not surprising in many ways as I doubt anyway has played as often over the past 5/6 years.

Sadly the players who do take 'responsibilty' like Yaya get the flack while others like Fernandinho get a free pass. It is time those players stepped up to the plate and allowed us to use Yaya more sparingly.

Mancini always stated he was the first name on the sheet and Lampard alluded to the fact Yaya was the one Pellers trusted with the ball. Two managers same outcome.

I don't disagree. But he wasn't in a 2 though. He was in a 3. And it didn't matter. Coz if we can't hold possession, all the Delph\Dihno hustle ammouts to fuck all. And when Silva isn't doing shaite running the team and DeBryune is off his game, and Aguero is being his now normal inconspicuous self, it is a little irritating when everyone goes back to the same blame well. Yaya this, Yaya that.

Silva was just as bad, Delph and even the dependable Dihno also kept giving up the ball. My favorite Otamendi kept falling lime a pansy, and yet the only retort is get Yaya off or MP sucks.

He's tried that several times and he doesn't have it in his locker now. Very sad to say because that was one of the finest sights in football

You can't play a player who is struggling with the physical intensity of the game in a semi-final and then leave him on for 90 minutes. And then when we are struggling at the heart of midfield we go and compound it by putting on a pedestrian centre-back.

We are very very lucky to still be in this competition.
