Could he play centre back with one with pace next to him? Forget the marauding runs that we used to get. He has done at Barca, he was immense in that Champs league final v the rags, albeit one game but he calm, can come out from the back, pass it well (most of the time), his heading or challenging for the aerial ball not the best just lately but could be sorted with a different mentality.

I not sure he finished yet.

Pellegrini has found a good position for him. I am sure he is not finished, but we must pick and choose the games. Not every single game

Quick question, which of the top teams in Europe do you think would have Yaya as an automatic starter when fit and who would he replace?

99% of european teams would have Yaya in a heartbeat , there are only the likes of Bayern,Real,Barca and Juve where he wouldnt get in their first eleven , but would comfortably be in their matchday squad , european leagues are much slower and technical it would suit yaya down to the ground , he has got found out in the premier league , because its 100mph pressing in most games now.

He's not wrong. If all you have to defend Yaya is gifs and pictures of his past performances then you don't really have a leg to stand on do you? He was poor last year he has been ever worse this year. The days of Yaya going on a 30 yard powerful run and smashing the ball in the net are gone. By all means appreciate what he has done for us as he was a huge part in winning the trophies we have but it's clear as day it's time he moved on for the sake of us and him.

Not really. I put the gifs up because I enjoy them. I won't argue the point that his form hasn't been good, but neither has that of a lot of players and the team as a whole. What I object to is the vitriol that is aimed at him, and it is pointless trying to discuss some of the finer points as some on here just hate the player - that I absolutely can't understand.

No one is denying that Yaya has put in some great performances and crucial goals over the past 4 seasons - it's just a massive pity that he's going to let himself go out on a low by under performing for the past 2 seasons, coupled with him besmirching his own City-legacy with cakegate, brother-gate, and now another toys out of the pram episode.

Can't argue with that. The gate thingies mean nothing to me, and I think some have overblown them. His form is slightly worrying, but then again when he's on form he's our most effective player. I personally don't think he's been shite for 2 years though.
