Sorry, but with the wages he's on, and, above all, the fact that he seems to be guaranteed nailed on a place in the starting line-up, Yaya is supposed to be one of our game changers, along with Merlin and Sergio. Those two do it, pretty regularly. Well, it's been a long time since Yaya's been that. That shot, miles over the bar, summed it up.

i think ya ya played well; created a few chances for himself or team mates in a poor performance, only real threat attacking wise. i can see the viewpoint he didnt play well, but i dont really agree with it.

Those four in front of yaya can press but I would of had us defending from our own half and press Juventus up to the half way line

Somebody said it on here a few pages back and they have nailed it. Watching Yaya now is like watching Gerrard in his last season at the dippers the game just keeps going on all around him. Sad to see because he is easily in the top 10 players of the last 40 years for City. Time to rest him and let others player.

Swap yaya for Delph, change KDB with sterling who would be replaced by Fernando and you might be onto something.
We didn't have to go gung-ho last night. Pragmatism with the ability to counter quickly should have been the game plan.
