In a Midfield of two what can you do..
So Yaya is the whipping boy for the manager and co's set up..
No wonder he looks like he can't be arsed when the team set up in a none attacking formation yet he's at fault? MP Ruben and Kidd should be getting the shit not Yaya IMO..
Useless? Not a big game player? Past it..

There isn't a club in the world that wouldn't want Yaya, the publicity that he would attract for that club alone would pay his wages so this no takers is bullshit IMHO dont forget his head was all over the place at the time with the imminent death of his brother RIP so at the time that might be the reason you think he was acting like a ****..

I think you might be surprised. Yaya is no longer the force he was a few seasons ago and is unlikely IMO to ever regain those dizzy heights
 
IMO yaya still a dangerous player, i dont know why some of our fans are picking at him when there are one or two other players making us a weak team.... I wonder if there are defenders from other teams in the PL that will say "great stuff its an easy day today because yaya is playing"... Defenders and midfielders from our opposition must see the team sheet and know from looking at certain players that its an easy shift for them, yaya / ageuro / silva / KDB are our most threatening going forward and make teams shake in their boots.

Yes he is still a dangerous player when he wants to be and not for the full 90 mins, which is what we need every player to embrace. His fitness could do with improving and I still think he is not as focused as well as he should be at times. Been a great servant and we owe a lot of our success to him, but there comes a time in every players career when you peak and start to deteriorate, the club have to decide whether or not he is an asset worth keeping.

For me, he's city's most important player in my lifetime, as he was the cog that remained strong when we needed someone the most.... However, there is no room for sentiment here, what has been glaringly obvious for the last 12 months is his lack of mobility, even in a 3 he has become a liability, moments/flashes of the old yaya don't cut it... Something for me doesn't ring true with this current situation, manuel is hanging himself before our very eyes!!!!
