The whole team struggled today and to say Toure had a great game is just deception. Very fortunate equaliser. What did he do that was so great?

Probably the laziest player in the team, but can flip the magic switch at times. Never considered industrious but blimey, he's only 32. Try harder Yaya. You used to be our best player not long ago.
He can't his legs have gone.

We are trying our best to give him a platform to play but its dama
Ra ra ra! Is there any point in discussing the game?

Liability defensively but played a decent game in attack,he made that luck with such a powerful run,he must have been saving that special;-)
From my perspective,id rather he was an impact sub these days.

I absolutely have no idea what game some Blues watch. I despair at some of the shite spouted in this thread. I hope he moves on, as only then will some Blues get to see how important he is to us.
To be honest mate, I think some are stuck on the vision of Yaya in his prime. He will always be a City legend, nothing will change that (apart from a nasty exit, which currently seems unlikely) but he is no where near as influential now as he was or you make him out to be.

I am not lambasting him as a villain, nor praising him as a demigod. He is what he is now, which is a more limited player that requires specific tactics to accommodate. And as time goes on it will become more and more difficult to justify those efforts.

He can contribute, no question, but it is a bit naive to say we'll understand when is gone; we understand what is gone now.

He was our best offensive player I thought. In fact he was in our three best players although that wasn't hard as so many of the others were poor.

Thought Yaya was one of the better players. By far the best on the ball that's for sure. Some good footwork and a few decent interceptions.

Fair enough. I wouldn't question his ability on the ball. It's his engine. He tried a couple of runs but they did not come off, and he was off the pace when they had the ball which is a continual problem. I'd play himin games like these, and in Cups but gone are the days when he's win games for us on his own. Squad player now.

I think none of our players were crap. They were pretty ordinary, playing a very ordinary team and making them look better than they are! Whenever there is a team in poor form, waiting to be battered, we put together a very ordinary performance. The Swansea goal at the end was the Christmas gift of all Christmas gifts. Thank God today was one of the days where he pulls the rabbit out of the hat!
