Disagree enjoy your daynot true . it was because he was fucking dire. if you do factor in Hart he was our worse ever signing.
I think confidence plays a huge huge part no matter what level you play at (remember Gary Birtles years ago banging them in for fun At Forest then couldn’t score at Utd confidence shot so funny )
Look at the difference in Stones with his confidence back
if you do factor in Hart he was our worse ever signing.
Is it just us as City fans or all football fans ?I just think it's a whole different world if you're a goalkeeper. The nature of the job is that if you make mistakes fans will turn on you. I feel for Bravo but I totally reject the idea that it was a case of him being unfairly scapegoated, he was criticised because he was rubbish. Then, later, when he put in some top displays that won us cup games, he was rightly praised.
For me the sign of a scapegoat is when even their great performances don't get much praise from the fans. Rodri and Zinchenko are two great examples of that. Both have been playing at an extremely high level almost all season but the general consensus from most City fans is still "been decent yeah but we need to strengthen in that position this summer".
Bravo was a worse signing than Santa Roque Cruz thenCan only speak for the modern era (as I'm too young to remember anything earlier than Keegan) but it's hard to disagree. Came in as our #1 and lasted until I think around January before Pep decided we were better off with Caballero.
