Players that feel like they never played for us.

That AguerOOOOOOOOOO moment would be meaningless today without DzekOOOOOOOOO few minutes before that, but I could swear he'll get even a footnote mention in a few years time.

I must have been in my absolute full drinking stage because I can not remember him in a City shirt in the slightest and was taken aback years after when checking his wiki page for something else and seen he had played for us, I was utterly shocked as he was a hero of mine when he played for Carlisle Utd.

I remember him going to Hartlepool as there was strong talk of him coming back "home" to Carlisle and that was in the same year as he had been at City on loan.

Scary lol

I was mascot for one of his games, I've got a signed ball from the night. His is the only signature you can make out believe it or not.

David Pizarro, premier league winner

Edit, just checked only made 5apps for us so didn't qualify for a winners medal

Boateng is a great shout.

Apparently played 24 times for us. I'm not buying that.

Wasn't 24 the amount of tackles he bottled out of rather than appearances?

He played 23 out of position at LB (he had played LB for Germany in the prior WC but almost all his prior club football at CB). He played one game at CB in a league cup match for us and looked ace. I thought at the time we were missing a trick in not giving him a run in his best position. As we all know know - he was a world class CB and never really played LB again once he moved back to Germany.

We are at a similar point now with Stones / Laporte. Got to be the first choice pair this year for us.

Saw Bellamy on the debate the other day and he said he was “lucky enough to have played for the club” and we have “great fans”. I think the way he left us is easier for a lot to remember than what he did for us. I however thought he was great as in sure most blues do.

I have to agree, and I loved the intensity he brought to us on the pitch, always seemed to me like a nightmare to play against, always harrying a chipping away and with pace to burn to capitalize if the opposition made a mistake, I always think of that derby where the ****s did us last minute, I think it was 4-3, nearly killed me, but with players like him in the team you could visibly see us getting closer on the field, I’m they were fucking exciting times and he was very much part of that
