We need quality (I agree) so we can slot the younger players in around them, gradually and build this as a philosophy for developing the team - its not that long before the training centre will come on line.

Vertonghen only cost £10 million which is very cheap. I've been well impressed with him this season, looks as good as any defender in the league.
Cazorla and Mata were obvious choices and I can't see why we didn't go for either of them.
Dembele looks a steal at £15 million. I knew he was great on the ball, but am shocked at how excellent he is at winning the ball.
How we went for Rodwell instead of Fellaini is beyond me. I watched quite alot of Rodwell at Everton and would never have had him in their first team when all their players were available, so just can't understand how anyone at the club thought he'd be good enough for us.
Rodwell and Garcia instead of Felaini and Dembele!
