Players who have left us under a cloud or on bad terms?

Going back a bit, but Kit Symons said a few bad things about us to the press when he left for Portsmouth. Said they were better equipped for promotion and glad he'd left...etc...etc.

We were a bit of a state, as a club, at the time, so maybe it was deserved, but you never want to hear it from a player who was kinda decent for us, do you.

Tevez after refusing to come on as sub in Bobby Manc's time v Bayern Munich & sodding off back to his homeland
Tevez refused to warm up anymore but never once refused to come on but RM decided to throw him under the bus directly after the game when he gave an interview when not fully focused hence the reason Tevez was so pissed off.

Hinchcliffe didn't leave under a cloud or bad terms. Kendall didn't want him

Hinchcliffe made a childish remark undermining HK in front of the whole City squad with reference to the number of ex-Everton players coming in, HK was an experienced winner as a player and manager while Hinchcliffe a cocky kid so was only ever going to be one outcome.

He said "I'm at a big club now" and we ended up getting them first home game and he was getting pelters from the Kippax in the 2nd half, however White couldn't get an change out of him, although Brightwell did him once on the overlap.

I think it was the Pink Floyd dyed pitch game.

Alan Kernaghan

when he was shipped out and we were tumbling down the leagues he was quoted as saying something like he watches for our results every Saturday and allows himself a smile with every terrible defeat we suffer

What was funny about the Hinchcliffe transfer was 6 months later Kendall left City to go back to Everton
