I would very much like us to give a huge two fingers up to Arsenal and poach Aubameyang on a Van Persie type deal.

Which aspects? He’s good at everything you want a forward to and can fit anywhere across the front line. One of the most consistent goal scorers over the past 10 years.

Whilst he is a good player he isn't that outstanding for the fee what Arsenal will ask for and age (as far as his pace is concerned) is factor against signing him.

Aubameyang seems to need very few chances to score, so I don’t think he’d fit in with our front line.

I'd like to see how Mikhail Antonio would perform in a top 6 team. He offers a bit of physicality which we lack and is very good in the air in both boxes.

He is tall and powerful. Seems to be pretty good off the ball and can use his head and jump well. I think the lad would be a good signing. Something different than what we have and useful.

I like his story as well. The man has worked his arse off to be where he is now. He is no spoiled since being a school boy primadonna.
