Was about to say, only seen Lamptey a few times, but I think he looks a great prospect, another ex- Chelsea player let go way too soon/not given a real chance ?

Probably learnt to be a bit more patient after Kev, Salah and maybe Lukaku to an extent.They must’ve known James was gonna make it. Both he and Chalobah look good.

Just seen it was a quite lengthy hamstring injury, probably a complete tear.No ones seen too much of him....his best position seems to be the treatment table ;)

I would add Livramento to that mix if we are talking about extremely promising young English full backs.Lamptey looks useful as does Mitchell at palace
Just as City seem to have suddenly created a glut of exceptionally talented midfielders and wingers, Chelsea appear to have done the same with an excess of very good right backs. They look to have decided James is the best option so we should be keeping an eye on Lamptey and Livramento’s progress for when the sad day comes that we need to replace Kyle Walker. I think Chelsea might have buyback options on both, though.
