Players who might improve us

Anyone know how much roughly we have to spend?

Barring release clauses , any decent player is going to be 70 milion minimum and if were overhauling our squad youre talking 400 million
Doubt we'd go to £400m even if a major overhaul. Not every player will be ready-made number 1 in that position.

Could go something like £40m for a gk, someone out of contract for a backup. Couple of players for about £40m each. One for around £60/70m and then one bigger signing at something like £100m. That'd be 6 for less than £300m. Bringing in more than that is unlikely I'd say.

If you're saying any decent player would be 70m unless a release clause. That's true maybe of the biggest leagues. Doesn't mean we won't utilise release clauses though, or buy from leagues where players may be a little cheaper (ie. Portugal/Belgium/Netherlands etc)

Just on one point you mentioned. An our of contract back up we should be all over is Walter Benitez from psv. Another problem we have is the home grown quota, if we lose mcatee grealish etc were gonna need more english players? So along with needing quality new players we also need some of them to be homegrown. I cant think of any quality available homegrown player

El Khannouss from Leicester...pick him up when they head off to the championship. in the right team under good management, I reckon he could really become something special.
I think Buonanotte has real potential. Surprised that Leicester haven't used him more, because when he comes on, they instantly look more dangerous.

We really need someone who can press for 90 minutes, connect attack and defence, has the intellect and technique of David Silva, and can time runs into the box and finish like prime Lampard.

Not too much to ask?

Rodri? is that you? lol...not sure if we'll get the same player back upon his return tho....

As mentioned earlier by @Sir Joe Aguero ....here's your Baleba Mk2.

Bloke covers the field with loads of energy & isn't afraid of a tackle & would be a hell of a lot cheaper than dealing with Bloom - go get him City!

Like this kid the more clips i see, wanna see more of his passing game though. We have or plan to have the ball 90% of the time. Get him in lets see what Pep can do with him.

Both of these are on someones list, both were linked with CFG moves previously.

Say no more. I got you a few names. All can be lured over...

Arthur Vermeeren: The advanced version. More Debruyne lite. Works hard and presses and connects midfield to attack. Great vision and early decision maker.

Martin Bathurin: Another midfield to Attack David Silvaish... Nor same style but can grow into that caliber with more goals and less assist.

Romaine Faivre: If you want some more of a Bernardo type flavor of all hustle plus exquisite touch. He is your man. Clever, good vision, beautiful rhythm.

Andrey Santos: A poor man's Jude Bellingham who can do it all I.e very good at everything but not special at any. But may be able to raise his game like Jude . Who knows. Take your pick :)

Thems are some of the potential options

Cherki French Under 21 player last night - cocky little shit but brilliant player

Young Bellingham came on for England late on and looked a spit of his brother and his playing style as well

Egan Riley played most of the match and was good.

Viana will have his own list, will be exciting to see who’s on it. His first signings have been good so let’s see what he can do with a full summer
