Digne isn't in the conversation full stop for me - we seem to do pretty deep digs on character, and ability to fit into the group, I'd suggest he fails at that point.
It's an opinion. I'm not saying there aren't disagreements within our squad, but they seem to have been handled pretty quietly.
 
I think Digne could be a decent option on a short term deal. 2-3 years. Think he's only 28. This is assuming he passes the City character check. I think I read somewhere that City are usually wary of signing French players.


Some stats as to why I think he can be successful:

These are per 90 mins because of the minute discrepancies between the players.

Digne: 54.6%
Cancelo: 44%
Oleks: 39.8%
(Digne is near Kyle Walker level with this)

Aerial win%:
Digne: 67.8%
Cancelo: 52.5%
Oleks: 54.3%

Shots created actions per 90:
Digne: 2.82
Cancelo: 2.24
Oleks: 2.93

Goals created actions per 90:
Digne: 0.26
Oleks: 0.29
Cancelo: 0.36

Key passes per 90:
Digne: 1.86
Cancelo: 1.38
Oleks: 0.98

There are loads more stats. Possession and pass based stats still generally favor City players over Digne. He has talent and skill to succeed here. Just a matter of whether we would want him. He has strong attributes both going forward and defending. Good at duels, crossing, etc. A bit like Ferna in that he isn't the tallest but has very good aerial ability.
 
Arnaut Danjuma of Villarreal is having a fantastic season. Plays Left Wing and is very good receiving the ball under pressure and with his adept skill with the ball helping him to beat the press. Very powerful speed and balance contributing a goal every 2 games.

Started at PSV when he left at 19 for NEC Nijmegen where he accumulated 14 goals and 17 assists in 46 games in Eredivisie. After two seasons was sold to Club Brugge, who sold him to Bournemouth after one season. After two seasons with Bournemouth impressing with 15 goals from 33 appearances last season and 7 assists he was bought by Villareal this season where he is earning rave reviews.

Turns 25 this month, 2 years younger than Sterling. Has helped Villarreal reach the knock out stage of the Champions league with 4 goals in the group stages. His goal tally for the season in La Liga and cup games is 9 from 18. Has also adapted at times as part of a front two for Villarreal.

Linked heavily with the dippers, presumably a potential Mane replacement.
