Players who might improve us

I don't know what's going on with the rumors at Real Madrid but it seems Valverde and Xabi aren't getting along.

Should it come to a situation where he becomes available.. I think City should be in for him.

Valverde is Nunes with a slightly better brain and will cost £90+, we need someone good on the ball

So you’re basically agreeing he’s a road runner? Yes we need players that can run but we also need players to be good on the ball. I’ve watched a lot of Madrid and Barcelona this year and I can tell you that Valverde is not a good option due to his limitations.

That’s also a reason why the fans ain’t happy with him. He is a good box2box but nothing special with the ball. Madrid is looking at Wharton/ stiller for a reason

He does have a great work rate but he's incredibly talented aswell. Brilliant technique striking a ball he's scored some great goals. I've actually not seen much of Madrid since Xabi took them over, maybe there is a bit of adjustment to the new man happening at the moment if he seems a little bit off it. I've seen enough of him over the last few years to be confident in my assessment of him.

Let's be honest though it's a non starter with regards to him coming to City anyway isn't it? Perez has learned from his past mistakes with Redondo and Makelele imo, they won't let him go.

The player I really like in Central midfield is Camara at Monaco, I think he could develop into a Vieira, Essien sort of central midfielder. An iron fist in a silk glove type. Half annoyed he was injured midweek as I wanted to see him up against our midfield but I was also glad we didn't have to face him! If you aren't familiar with him he was excellent for Senegal when they played England recently, a comp is probably floating around on YouTube that will show what he is all about.
 
Ligue 1 has indeed several good nice athletic Players. Camara would be very nice. Camara + Vanderson would be great.

And none of them apart from Gvardiol, and Stones who’s too often injured, are as good as Marc Guehi.

Reis and Bah might not even end up playing for us again.
Aké injury prone.
Dias, seems to be getting slower every week, also shite in the air.
Khusanov, maybe, still young and slightly impetuous.
