If you don’t rate Nico G you absolutely won’t rate baleba. They’re the same player except baleba is slightly faster. Their main skill set is ball carrying which isn’t what we need right now. We need ball progression. Wharton and Stiller should be the names in the mix

I hope we're still after Livramento either in January or next summer.

It's obviously dependent on how the squad, loan players and academy players develop, but right now it's looking to me that a proper RB is all we need.

If I remember correctly, nothing is saying I do, he was supposedly looking at a few clubs. The criteria were, a loyal and solid fan base, a nearby rival, and possibly with a large airport "close by".

And the three mentioned above are the ones I recall them being also. I suppose there could have been more.

Nico Gonzalez is far slower than Baleba it’s not just slightly . Also Nico g turns far too slow and needs too long to pass. There‘s a very big difference in terms of pace and agility

Well the season just started. Also be is only 21. there won’t be consistency yet. Nico G‘s weaknesses are weaknesses he can’t get rid off. His ability to turn won’t ever change also he is quite slow and somehow looks lethargic when passing the ball.

Another player that will probably breakout completely at the winger position is Sulemana. Was already good for Southampton - just no end product but has the same natural ability as Doku - infact he benched Doku and is both footed but also very effective on 1vs1 + Mbappe type lvl fast.
I think city should keep an eye on him despite just moving this summer. Lookman is already irrelevant for Bergamo.

Agreed. I watch a lot of Brighton live as they are only 20 mins down the road from us. Baleba has been poor.

I saw some highlights. Looks like he is good on both sides. Question is if he‘s the same against low block because what he showed is something savinho did in La Liga too. Personally see Bobb as an 8 or let’s say Bernardo replacement so not a pure winger . Minteh would be a good addition from what I’ve seen

I´d like that , a proven winger is a must imo next summer ,also a more creative midfielder if Cherki doesn´t work out ,can´t wait to get him back and see how he developes.

I think Nico has done very well this season.

Like I said about Kalvin Phillips (not in defence of him) - it's hard to set the world alight playing as DM, especially when playing a bit-part role. But this season, when playing more regularly I think he's looked really good.

Newcastle fear Livramento has suffered another serious knee injury, possibly another acl? We perhaps need to look elsewhere?
