Mad that Newcastle had to sell Minteh due to PSR and a couple years later paid almost twice as much for Elanga.Isak, Anderson and Minteh ring any bells?
PSR is a scourge on the game. Newcastle really aren’t allowed to make any headway and overtake the red clubs.

They're not a legacy club like the rags, dippers and tarquins so why should they be? There was a cut off date for teams to be successful and wealthy. They shouldn't have missed it.
I mean Reilly was supposed to play more as a CM but has another season as LB. If we don’t buy one I can see us playing him there next season too.They’re good enough to fill in but not what we should be doing long term. Plus I’d expect next season we’ll be seeing more of Khusanov of CB

He's done brilliantly since going out there but the club has invested in Ait Nouri because they believe he's ready now. I'd expect O'Reilly to be backup LB and get the occasional minutes in midfield in the cupsI mean Reilly was supposed to play more as a CM but has another season as LB. I’m hoping he’ll get more games than that, ideally in midfield. I think O’Reilly can become our Declan Rice.

You don't know Pep.. if it works for him, he'll play Nunes at Right Back, Cancelo at Left Back, Rodri at Center Half, Jesus at DM and Walker in Goal!
