Seems like a waste of time to me. A club as rich as most countries, 3 year deal, exciting club to be at.

Rodri is better than the "other" £100m players on the market but if Chelsea or Liverpool came to us with £100m we'd rightly tell them to kindly fuck off. He's worth more than £100m to Newcastle, especially if he's worth over £100m to us. A team like Palace might struggle to turn down a big bid for, say, Eberechi Eze. But Newcastle have zero reason to sell and even if Guimarães wants to leave they will ask for, at a minimum, a British transfer record.
 
I am sure we not really looking at fullbacks given that we are playing CB but with no Mendy No Cancelo an aging Walker we should be looking at that young left back and perhaps that RB being linked with Chelsea

Bit late, should have done that straight after the CL if we wanted to bully them. Saka, Odegaard & Saliba all had either 1 or 2 years on their contract.

Saka and Odegaard - thats a lot of flexing, especially when you see how hard it is to sign top players from clubs in the mid section of the league. West Ham, Brighton all want 100m. Even Fulham want 80m for a 28 year old Palinha.

How comfortable would you feel paying 200m each for them? Because that's probably what it would require. Maybe more. Our owners own Walmart did you know?

Its not FIFA mate, Arsenal will just laugh and say fuck off. Both are happy and have lots of years left and Arsenal are fine financially. Both would be world record fees before you even open negotiations.
