Players you have met

Seen Micah Richards in sainsburys,

I live in denton,so allways see Ricky Hatton, then went to Florida, and bumped into him at a theme park there.

Used to live on the same street as Paul lakes mum.

Met the Goat a couple of times, and was superb, genuinely nice guy, and sorted me and my family with tickets a couple of times. Top man, on and off the field.

I've met a few...the Whitley brothers, Keith Curle, Danny Tiatto, Mark Kennedy, Joe Corrigan, Shaun Goater....other I've probably forgotten about.

Most recent was Shaun Goater at Wembley then again at Dublin airport after the europa final, struck me on both occassions as a great person, lots of time for the fans....speaks very well and would do very well as a pundit imo.

I got my picture taken with The goat, got it printed then didn't have a frame so i took a picture of me and my Mrs out of one and replaced it with me and the Goat

She went fucking spare and cried.......

Women are odd

My dad knows Willie Donachie and he told me, my dad, my wife and my 5 yr old son to come up to Carrington the following Wednesday. Only turns out it was his 50th !!
I talked to Dickov and said he was the only bloke who's made me cry and not my son !
Talked with Keegan for a while and he shared his Jaffa cakes with us.
Was a bit weird being upstairs with them in their "lounge" area!
Talked to Richard Edghill and Eyal Berkovic too.

I bumped into SWP in mothercare with his mrs and kid told him good luck for the following game and he really appreciated it.

Me and the mrs know Trevor Sinclair and he got us into the players lounge a few times.
Joey Barton though what an arrogant knob.

I was also sat 2 seats from Mark Lillis at FA cup final this year too top fella we were doing the the poznan with him an his son. He went mental like everyone else when we scored !

Was it his son Josh Lillis? Goalkeeper for Rochdale IIRC! Used to be at Scunthorpe 2009/2010

Just googled his name in images and think it was.

Never knew..

Half met Paul Robinson, he used to go to my school so he very occasionally visited (we have great teachers) and on rare occasions was around town.

Interesting bit of information, my PE teachers big achievement is that he taught Paul Robinson and put him into the school team, as a striker.

Used to babysit for Paul dickov absolute fantastic bloke. Ian bishop proper lads lad bit of a joker. Tommy wright and Paul Ritchie great blokes.
Steve howey bit of a prick spent £50000 on a pair of curtains and said he would rather finish 1st 2nd or 7th cause he can't be arsed playin in the playoffs?

Met SWP at the stdium on the day of his reurn from Chelski.
Quiet lad , very friendly and approachable.

Also bumped into Petrov in stadium shop just after he had signed.
Verynice with my young lad even theough his English was very ltd at the time ( Pertroov's, that is !!)

I have ran through Manchester airport with Mark Hughes and his family when trying to get flights to geneva the next morning as our flight had been cancelled. We got the last tickets.
He is a great guy and we had a long chat about city whilst in the que, he said he was disappointed about being sacked but he was enjoying all the free time he had.

Uwe, Alex Williams, Buzzer, De Jong, Kevin Keegan, Zabaleta, Tony Book, Ian Brightwell and Paul Lake.
