Please don't get Ibra

Italian league is pretty poor overall. Ok Inter Won the champions league but they got a better player plus £60 million which they rebuilt the side with the best manager in the world.

Hes gone to spain to a tougher league and well hes seen as a flop as he got half the goals of the player he replaced and cost 3 times as much.

I get bored of saying it but the prem is a step up again.

Hes mard, already said he couldnt cope with the weather or the culture over here. His words not mine !

Would be badly of of his depth in our league and wont get as many goals as Ade.

So a completely pointless signing IMO as the players we already have are better and proven in this league. Mark my words if we sign him he will be a bigger flop that Robinho over here. Will hate the weather, city, country and culture and wont be able to adapt to the physical nature of the game and having no time on the ball.

You ask most city fans they dont want him, they would rather keep Ade and tevez and add another big strong forward from Germany or a dutch or french player that doesnt mind being kicked and doesnt refuse to play when it gets cold and starts raining.

I have yet to speak to a city fan that actually thinks he would be a good signing not large talk on intenet forums where people think we will actually sign the likes of Kaka etc....

All I have to say is Robinho. People have very short memories.

This past season Ibrahimovic played 77 minutes against English opposition and scored two goals. Sure, he's struggled in the past but so has Messi. I think you'll find both are great footballers regardless of what country you're in. I can't say if he'd be a great signing or not in the end, but I'm surprised that you somehow seem to think that you can.

Also people seem to have short memories indeed - Robinho had a really good first season with us.

I reckon Dzeko would be a better bet , young , still has loads of time to adapt to life in the prem . With Ibra we would have around 3 more years out of him it could be a big waste of money . But whoever we get whether it be Ibra or Dzeko they will be ace cos we've got Bobby manc ;)

He was the best player in Seria A when that league was far better than the prem (2005)....

And, couldnt cope with the weather ? he is from Sweden and have you ever been to Milan in the winter ? believe me the weather there is much more harsh then the British winter.

(shakes head in disbelief)

What has happened to City fans? They're absolutely spoilt and people are wanting Higauin and Dzeko instead of this fella? Absolute jokers! I'm sorry but I laugh in the face of that opinion because this guy is on another level to them two.

You don't go to Inter Milan, you don't move to Barcelona without being an absolutely amazing player and scoring a barrel full of goals. You can fault his playing style but you cannot fault his goals to games ratio in whatever league he has been in. You can doubt how he'd accomodate to the premiership but I'm going to absolutely love it when he proves them all wrong if he joins. The criticism he has recieved on here is a disgrace.

Add to that Mourinho was quoted in saying he's the best striker he's ever worked with aswell.
Considering who he's worked with and his knowledge of the game that is some compliment................i think i'd take his view on a player before any posters on here?

personally i think we should get higuain instead because i think he would be cheaper plus hes younger and less lazy what do you think?

It's proper fucking laughable on here at times mate, Ibra is an immense player and Bob is hardly likely to re-sign him if he didn't think he'd cut the mustard.

Why not sign Billy Sharp? He's cheaper, younger and less lazy ;-)

Not sure how you can say Inter got a better player in Eto'o. He's struggled this year (as has Ibra no doubt)
